The Power of the Pause

Have you felt more tired, have trouble sleeping, are out of sorts, and are finding time just seems to fly by faster and faster and faster?

This may be the reason.

We have had unprecedented celestial events that kicked off in April with the Solar Eclipse. We are going from the dark into the light, each traveling that inner journey of darkness to light in letting go of old patterns that no longer serve us.

After the eclipse there have been solar flares, unusual planetary line ups, and planets in alignment. All are helping us to release and to support us energetically in creating a new world and a new way of being. It can feel overwhelming and chaotic. These celestial events affect us even if we are unaware of why we feel the way we do.

I am also witnessing relationship challenges. . Some relationships will be severed and others will shift to a new level of understanding and connection.

This is also a time of unprecedented tremendous, constant shifting and change. The death and rebirth cycle is an event with both humans and animal companions leaving their physical, earthly bodies.

It’s summertime and a great time to be relax and be still.

There is power in the pause. Stop and Be in the Quiet.

We are all experiencing a cycle not unlike that of the caterpillar and the butterfly. All of which is forcing us on some level to pause, be still, and reset – allowing a new way of being, letting go of our old caterpillar selves, and giving us the freedom of the butterfly.

Our true essence and gifts are to let the inner rebirth happen as our bodies take on a new way of being so the importance of the quiet to listen for our next steps.

If we resist, we just get squeezed, causing more anxiety. We will be forced in one way or another to take a pause and be still.

6 Steps to Rest and Reset- The Power of the Pause

  • Monitor your stress and anxiety level. If you are highly sensitive you’ll need even more self-care and down time right now. Trust me, it’s important. You may be more stressed than you think. The good news is that it’s summer – take advantage and slow down.
  • Take breaks! If you have a busy schedule, put your alarm on and take 2 to 10-minute breaks. Make sure you have a time sometime during the day that you are quiet for 15 to 30 minutes. This keeps you connected to your Source connection and gives you the ability to connect to your body’s self-healing abilities and inner guidance – which is vital right now.
  • If you are looking at a change, planned or unplanned, look at your fears, worries or concerns. Do whatever you need to do to calm your nervous system.
  • Be open to receiving. If you need support during a change, talk with someone who is a safe space for you.
  • Do or be where you get a sense of peace.
  • And don’t forget to laugh and have fun. Laughter is a great healer!

Pausing to be in the flow,

Bonnie
