My husband and I have traveled to Las Vegas for a workshop. Since it’s the gambling mecca, I was very interested in how a friend of ours seems to come back from every gambling trip with more money than she invested. I asked her what her secret to success was.
Her secrets of success are:
- Walk in with whatever you’re willing to spend and have no expectations
Walk around and feel the energy of the machines - Watch where the action is
- Only play on a machine 3 times if you aren’t winning
- And last but not least have fun
Mmm….that seemed like sage advise. So I tried it. Yes, the secrets to success in gambling paid off. However, I have found her advice to be useful in more than one way and in as odd as it may seem in alignment with the roles of our inner family.
I feel strongly about the power of our “Inner Family” and how our inner family can give us the keys and ability to navigate our life with more confidence, success and inner peace. Your inner family gives you the power to gamble, (inner warrior) to take a step into the unknown, to feel safe to risk (inner child, inner nurturer) and adventure in new territory and to trust that you can flow with inner guidance (inner sage) whatever happens on your journey.
Building a more harmonious and healthy communication with your “inner family” they are the keys to your ability to be self-empowered, feel safe and trusting as you live each day confronted with real-world issues.
