Many people had profound and challenging experiences during and after the eclipse and more challenges with  severe weather conditions, fires, Hurricane Harvey Irma and Jose.  Isn’t it easy to become paralyzed not knowing which way to turn. One of the messages of the eclipse is how vitally important it is right now for each of us to be who we are in the world sharing our gifts confidently without hesitation.

There is a story I used to love, The Little Rabbit Who Wanted Red Wings. Little White Rabbit desperately wanted red wings. Who could blame her? Red being a power color and to be able to fly … wouldn’t that be the best? It would be better than just being white, close to the ground, and fearful of being eaten. Right?

At least that is what Little White Rabbit thought.  She doesn’t see a lot of value in being a rabbit. She wants to be just like other animals in the forest. Like those who are colorful and do things she cannot.

Little White Rabbit goes to the wishing pond and wishes for the red wings she so envies. In a moment, she finds herself with beautiful red wings.

As the story goes on, her life becomes a disastrous journey. Little White Rabbit no longer feels like herself. She can’t move easily with beautiful red wings and they do not allow her to fly. Little rabbit becomes more scared and alone than ever before, not being able to use her own natural gifts.

Rabbit totem “Rabbit Power: Animal Symbol of Creativity Intuition Paradox and Fear” http://www.shamanicjourney.com

It’s very interesting that this story has a rabbit. The rabbit totem is about using your own intuition, your own resources, and “quick thinking and hidden messages” to move though challenges. The rabbit totem strengthens intuition and allows you to let go of worry.”

“When balanced, Rabbit Medicine is also “very positive, showing us how to attract love, abundance, health. In China, it is one of the astrological animals and linked to good fortune and the moon. People born under Rabbit’s sign are believed to be artistic and sensitive.” http://www.shamanicjourney.com

This story and the rabbit totem seem to be a perfect message for those of us who are highly intuitive and highly sensitive. The message is clear. We must use our own magical wings! (which happens sometimes without realizing it). The answer is not out there! Before and during the hurricane it was important to use the gifts of sensitivity and intuition to guide us to what the  next step was going to be. Trusting that made a difference.

The answer lies in you who are – feel the inner strength and calm with that thought! Which is what you are when you use your amazing gifts of sensitivity and intuition for yourself. It’s sometimes so easy to use your gifts for others and forget about yourself.  Let’s imagine the power and energy of the fire and rain washing away the confines and limitations of our old selves. And  allow this time now to wholeheartedly and confidently embrace yourself and your gifts. You have a unique Soul Signature making you who you are in physical form.

Use your own magical wings! Leave the red wings to the cardinals! You are needed now on the planet more than ever.

Fall in Love with the Magic of You,

Bonnie
