Have you ever witnessed the joy of a wedding, a baby shower, or celebrated a personal or professional success with a friend?

Most of us have.
Many of us have also experienced the sacred rituals surrounding the loss of a loved one—moments that mark grief, remembrance, and release.
Have you ever created a personal ritual to honor a major transformation—a rite of passage, a divorce, or a job change?
Many women have daily rituals centered around quiet time, mindfulness, or gratitude. These inner practices support us emotionally and spiritually, while outward rituals allow us to witness and support others as they move through change.
It’s fascinating how rituals serve us—psychologically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Do you have rituals in your life? Rituals can be a simple as lighting a candle for quiet time, meditation or for someone else.

I do. I love rituals. They ground something deep inside. I love creating meaningful celebrations for others and anchoring myself through my own daily practices. I truly believe that rituals and celebrations have the power to uplift and transform us during times of transition.
So you can imagine my delight when I met Elizabeth Barbour in a group I’m part of—she’s the author of the beautiful book Sacred Celebrations. Even if you’re someone who already values rituals like I do, you’ll find yourself both surprised and inspired as you read Sacred Celebrations.
I was so excited, I downloaded the book that same day. In it, Elizabeth shares her own journey and offers a treasure trove of rituals to support every kind of transition and transformation.

Celebrating the small and big things,
Bonnie
P.S. If you’re highly sensitive you probably have supportive self nurturing rituals. And if you do’t this is a wonderful time to create daily self nurturing rituals for yourself.
