In last blog I promised you 4 ways to stay grounded during the holidays.
My intention was to write another blog and share more and there is more!
However, it didn’t take the written form I had thought.
One of the ways to stay grounded is to listen to your inner guidance. To make choices to keep you from being stressed, overwhelmed, and keep you focused.
I followed my inner guidance and inspiration by creating three 10-minute Facebook live Videos. I called them 4 Ways to Stay Grounded During the Holidays. This was a time-effective way to share simple strategies from a new book I co-authored with Jan Rysdon, A Blueprint for Happy, Resilient Parents, Teachers and Kids through the Magic of Heart-Thoughtful Mindfulness. The strategies we shared are the building blocks to coming home to yourself no matter where you are on your path. As a sensitive soul, your kindness and sensitivity is especially appreciated during this season. It can also be a time of overwhelm and meltdown if you aren’t careful.
Are you using the gifts and tools you have during this season for yourself? Are you gifting yourself moments of joy, self-care, compassion, and the love you offer others? Are you being consciously thoughtful about what you do, choose to gift, and aware of how it’s impacting your energy?
The energies of this year have been pushing each of us to completely let go of the old definitions of who we think we are. We have been encouraged to release the old patterns – personal and familial.
Yes, I hear you. I know we’ve been doing this for a bit. This year the push has been intense. But haven’t you felt the opportunities to let go and trust? We’re moving more fully into our quantum selves connected to the divine in our human bodies.
It’s a time now to “rebirth” ourselves and redefine what we believe is possible for our life. This season of light is the perfect time to use that which is pouring down on us to reflect and be open to the new year energies, grace, and the new frontier of what is possible individually and in community.
Take time to be still and listen to inner guidance. It will be one of the best gifts of the season!
