You can transform worry to wisdom!

January has been tumultuous in the outside world. And many of us had a roller coaster of emotions and challenges in our personal world.

As mentioned previously, the astrology of this year predicts upheaval, changes, and breakdown and possibilities for new creative solutions. You can look at this from the point of view of fear or opportunity. Easier said than done, right?

The changes we’re experiencing are guiding us to something new. Our transition and personal transformations affect the outside world and collective consciousness.

  • What keeps us more easily traversing change as we transition and transform old ways of being and doing?
  • What keeps us holding on instead of letting go and transforming old patterns?
  • What keeps us from transformation and being in alignment with birthing new opportunities and ways of being.

You know which answer fits… Anxiety? Fear? Stress? Frustration? Feeling Powerless? Worry? The Unknown?

It’s important to remind yourself that true emotion is very brief. It is the pain of the emotions and, yes, the physical. too. It’s about the “story” you’re telling yourself about the past or the future.

It’s our “story” that keeps us from moving forward. Where does the “story” originate? Good question. It’s not from your “heart mind” or inner wisdom. It’s from the mental, the voices in your head, which limit you and keep you from accessing and trusting your inner wisdom.

Those voices keep us trapped in survival mode. In the lower part of our brain, in the Amygdala. “Amy” as we affectionally call her. She wants to keep us safe for survival. That’s where the limiting thoughts, the saboteur voices live. You won’t find “Amy” tapping into your intuition and inner wisdom. Your intuition doesn’t have a home in the amygdala.

Amy is only interested in your survival. She has no interest in your thinking, pondering, or feeling into what is best for you. She will activate your adrenalin and send blood to the limbs to tell you to get away from those thoughts. Just as if there was a tiger in the road and you were in physical danger.

But she doesn’t know that stress, trauma, and worry are patterns not in need of her protection. Since Amy doesn’t know time or space, your feelings and those voices arise from memories and fears stored from the past. Worries about the future are not the present moment. These personas or sabotaging self-limiting voices think they keep us safe.

How do stop those limiting voices, the saboteurs, and tap into your inner wisdom? Recognize those voices are not you! They are not your true essence and are not going to guide you safely through change. Your inner wisdom and trusting your intuition will guide you. It’s the heart and not the mind. It’s moving into your heart space and allowing your inner wisdom, your intuition, to guide you partnering with the mind. Not always an easy task.

What do you do to activate your inner wisdom? Focus on how you to easily access that intuitive heart space. That will be the best way to ride the waves of change.

There are powerful ways to recognize and reprogram your brain to move into your heart mind and intuition more quickly. The first step is recognizing those voices are not you! Then move into the present moment.

Wishing you the grace to ride the waves of change with grace,

Bonnie
